Studying abroad can be one of the most rewarding and exciting experiences in a student's academic career, and combining learning and travel is education at its best! However, before you enroll in a study abroad program, it is essential to find out as much as possible about the program, the program provider, and the academic coursework offered to determine whether the program is right for you. If you are interested in one of SBCC's programs, we strongly advise you to attend the information meetings, to visit the Study Abroad Office, and to schedule an appointment with the program director and your academic and Financial Aid counselors. Also, to make the most of your experience abroad, it is essential to prepare yourself adequately and to become knowledgeable about the country(ies) you will be visiting.
