Hunter
Tormented in his youth by oppressive mimes and unexplained warts, Hunter burst on the scene in a local production of Fiddler on the Roof. A precocious boy, it was Hunter's lifelong dream to play Tevye in Fiddler. After a three night run at Carpinteria High School, the play was suddenly cancelled. No explanation was given. Hunter spent the rest of his community service turning burgers at the Spot and going to night school at Truck Masters with Debbie Dootson. After several years on the road doing regional theater and traveling with the Lompoc chapter of Sun Young Moon's church Hunter settled down at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles. It was there he found gainful employment mopping floors and scrubbing toilets. This job led to a chance encounter with Charlie Sheen one night while working a particularly nasty spill in solitary confinement. Hunter and Charlie struck a bond that not only inspired the movie "Cell Block D", but also led to the arrest of Heidi Fleiss. Charlie got Hunter hired to play the part of "Sparkles the Wonder Cat" in the ill-fated syndicated radio program "Tea Time with Sparkles". Critical success followed the premier of the show but the radio station burned down the next day.
Racked with guilt and shouldered with the responsibility of looking after his wife, four children, a parakeet, emu, two goats, one meerkat, and a hippo, Hunter returned to his first love, cooking. The next day Hunter got a job as a fry cook on Venus. Content to make his way in the work he loved so much he forgot about the world of greasepaint and late-night donkey rides. That was until Steve DaVega showed up and turned his world upside-down. Steve suggested something that no man should ever be confronted with. Would Hunter be willing to get back into radio? At first, the answer was easy. Can you come back after lunch rush? But then Steve sweetened the deal with a bus ticket, and Hunter was on the next plane to Santa Barbara. Hunter didn't like buses. And the rest is history.
