Below is usage data to see how many employees of Santa Barbara City College have benefited from the housing services provided by Coastal Housing Partnership.  Thank you to the SBCC Foundation for their sponsorship of this fantastic benefit!

 

Home Purchase Benefit      11 employees with an average savings of $4,500.   Total savings $49,500

Mortgage Refinance Benefit    13 employees with an average savings of $500.  Total savings $6,500

Rental Assistance Benefit        5 employees with an average savings of $600.  Total savings $3,000

Home Buying Seminars      39 employees with an average savings of $25.     Total savings $975

Total SBCC employee savings January 2021- December 2021 was $59,975.

Total SBCC employees who used Coastal Housing benefits was 68.

Santa Barbara County Housing and Community Development Department

The County of Santa Barbara Housing Authority also has programs available to local residents of the County who meet certain income criteria.  There is an Interest List sign-up form you can complete to be notified when an affordable unit becomes available for purchase.

Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara

Loans available through the Workforce HomeBuyer Program.  They provide a loan assistance for market rate homes and a loan assistance program for affordable resale restricted homes.  Please go to their website for details on the program South Coast Workforce Homebuyer Program.
